I teach you: a basic chocolate making affair, teaching you the tempering of chocolate and the reason behind it. Make moulded chocolates fast and easy for your party or just for you to enjoy anytime (1 recipe).

Enjoy an enlightening and informative class, incorporating:

HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE

Participants will be given an introduction on the history and origin of chocolates. How chocolate is made, origins of the cocoa beans and where the best cocoa beans come from.

THE DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS USED

Learn how chocolate is made, the different varieties and the ingredients used to make chocolate couverture

USE OF DIFFERENT BRANDS OF CHOCOLATE COUVERTURE

Brief introduction and tasting of the available brands in the market, which are being used by professional chocolate makers and are for sale in our retail outlet

TECHNIQUES OF CHOCOLATE MAKING

  • Artisan Truffle making
  • Participants will get a hands-on experience of making Artisan truffles

At the end of this class, participants would have gained a basic understanding of the history, origin and the different stages that the cocoa bean goes through to the final stage of savouring the chocolate.
